One quarter of all the bones in your body are in your feet. Tens of thousands of nerve endings make your foot one of the most sensitive parts of your body. In the average day, many tons of force is exerted on your feet – equal to a cement truck load!

In many health traditions such as Acupuncture, Shiatsu, & Reflexology, the foot is recognized as a vital avenue for healing of the entire body. My foot massages draw on this wisdom combined with the simple power of caring touch to bring you a level of relaxation and well-being that you may find surprising from a focus on just one area of the body. It is not unusual for many of my clients to doze off from the deep relaxing effects.

An additional benefit in regards to the covid19 threat, foot massage can be performed keeping a significant distance between us. You will be reclining on the massage table and I will be working from the other end. With both of us in masks, a high degree of protection is maintained. A well known consequence of stress reduction is a boost to the functioning of the immune system.

Your foot massage will require about 45 minutes and include a gentle warm wash with essential oils, followed by about 20 minutes on each foot with some work on the calves, another area of tension for many people.
